About

Hi, I’m Zach and I am addicted to technology (What? They say admitting you have a problem is your first step to recovery right?), but for most of my life my friends, coaches and teammates have simpy called me Bruhnke (it sounds just like monkey).

I am a 20 something developer and tech junkie born and raised in the heart of the south (Shreveport, LA) I played sports growing up but always had an interest in computers, and since my family got our first one in the pre-windows era I have had lots of experience with them.

I started tinkering at a young age and the love affair has only developed further from there. I learned my first programming language (C) early, but until about 5 years ago I was still doing so many other things that I had neglected some of my development skills.

Over the past few years I have been able to brush up and was fortunate enough to do some cool things and work with some interesting people.

I am starting this blog to share my stories and experiences with the rest of you guys. My goal is to give good, unbiased reviews on a variety of technology-related products including hardware, software and of course the books we read to learn how to use them.

Why a Tech Blog? And Why Now? Because to be totally honest. Technology has been a joy in my life and truly a saving grace for me. It has taken me places I could have never gone otherwise and I know it will continue to in the years to come. I want to share with everyone how much fun technology can be. I hope I will have ways of explaining things in this blog that will appeal to both experts and beginners without leaving either one feeling left out.

Other Info Honestly, I could go on here for day’s, but I really don’t have that kind of time and I bet you dont either. so if you’re interested in anything in particular poke around and see what you can find. if you have a specific question for me head on over to the Contact page and drop me a line.
